Joseph Conklin, son of Stephen and Anna (Crane) Conkling married Sarah Kinman. Joseph died in March, 1831 in Cincinnati, Ohio. His will, located at the archives in the University of Cincinnati is dated 22 March 1831 and names his wife Sarah and daughter Ann Maria. Sarah remarried as her will was filed on 22 January 1849 under the name of Sarah Whalley. It is located at the University of Cincinnati Archives. It names her daughter Anne Maria Conklin and several children from her second marriage. The executor of Sarah’s will was John Kinman.
