Dalton, I talked to one of the Sauls today.We are talking about the same Millie. My great, great grandmother�Louiza also had a brother John, another brother Lee a sister named Zem and a sister� named Millie. From my understanding, their father died and their mother raised them herself .I'm sure there are more siblings but people can't remember them all.I was told that John Nix was a farmer and a preacher and had only one eye. Have you heard any of this?John Nix also has a son or a great grandson named NJ Nix he is still alive in Crossville Alabama .I tried to contact him today,but I did not get an answer.Maybe he can remember some of the dates. I'm kind of afraid how some of these people are going to act when you call and ask them questions.Does any of this information help you put any of this together? Becky

Dalton,the cemetary I found was the one you told me about.The one in Walnut Grove/Altoona.One of Sherman,s children (Edna)owned a coffee shop in Gadsden.The story is that John Dobbs came in to the shop and told Edna that he might have been married to Luiza,but he was not really Sherman,s father.He did claim to be Elsie,s dad.He said that Sherm's father was John Nix.They claim that it was her brother John.That is just too sick to believe,but didn't she also have a cousin named John Nix?The whole family on that side bacame hostile when I started this research.It was suppose to be some big secret.Some of Elsie's children are still alive living in�Alabama,but I don't have enough information at this time to find them.I don't�know if I believe this story about Louiza and John or not.Did that kind of thing go on alot in those days?If I find anything I will let you know.Becky�

This John NIX is the exact age, but I am not sure how he got to Cullman County, Where is Fairview, maybe that is different from the other NIX clan living in Cullman, County.
