assume no family; died age 11.( Oct 1881) Where did I get that date? But see 1900 census, she says 5 born and 5 living? This family is a long way from being completely researched.

1900 Census, Alabama, Etowah, Clear Creek, 9 of 18 <ancestry. con> NIX, Dicie, Head, W,F, Jan 1847? 53. Wd., 5, 5, Ala,SC,SC NIX,Luiga, Daughter, W,F,Jan 1881,18 S, Ala, Ala, Ala NIX,Sherman,Grandson, W, M,Aug, 1899, 9/12, S, Ala, Ala, Ala

Note that she says 5 children born, 5 living, I have not been able to find Dicey in the 1910 Census.

SO WHY DO I HAVE ZEM AS DIED AT AGE 11?????

living on the road leading from Albertville to Jug factory road. She list herself as age 38 but I have her as 30 or 31., he is age 27. She says 6 children born 2 living They have been married for 10 years. and that agrees with the marriage license.

There is another Peppers family at line 11. Name: Peppers, Tilman M. 63

this was the last entry onthis page, but there is nothing else on the next page for this family . That would agree with a marriage date of 8 Sep 1899. The large difference in age seems to disappear latter in life.
