John Campbell and his sister Rebecca both married siblings, children of Daniel Early of Augusta County, Virginia. John witnessed the Marriage Bond of his sister Rebecca that proves they are both children of Alexander Campbell who died prior to 1804:

I John Campbell of the said County do swear that my sister Rebecca Campbell, daughter of Alexander Campbell decd who is about to intermarry with Samuel Early is past the age of twenty one years and that she normally resides in this said County of Augusta. Given unto my hand this 10th day of June 1804.

I John Campbell of the said County do swear that I have been acquainted with Samuel Early who is about to intermarry with my sister Rebecca Campbell for twelve years past and from his age at that time do verify I know he is past the age of twenty years and also I heard his father Daniel Early say that he was past the age twenty one years. Given unto in my hand this 10th day of July 1804.
