Mrs. Robinson provided a hand drawn map of burial site for Shelby Gerald Morrow. William A. Morrow; Shelby Arnold Morrow and Shelby Gerald Morrow all located the burial site of James Lindsey Morrow. He is buried with his brother Andrew Jackson Morrow, Andrew's wife Tine Morrow. All three graves are marked only with a "field stone" at head and foot of the grave. No inscriptions. At the time of our visit the only section of the graveyard which was being maintained was the Ross Family Plot. The three Morrow graves are located nearby and we had to cut down "waist high weeds" to discover the field stones.

According to oral family history, James Lindsey (known as Lin) came to middle TN near the start of the Civil War (circa 1861) where he married and raised his family in Buffalo Valley and Cookeville areas of Putnam County, TN. As of 2008 no known reason has been identified for this move. There were both MORROW and CHITWOOD families living in Smith and Macon Counties of TN but no PROVEN relationship has been established.
