My name is William A. (Bill) Morrow b. 1 July 1935 in Trenton, NJ. With the help of a 2nd cousin once removed I have been able to trace/document my MORROW family line back to Ephriam L. Morrow b. Oct 1822 in GA, married Caroline CHITWOOD. This couple, my 2 X great grandparents, lived their "child rearing" years in Randolph Co., AL and circa late 1870's removed to Northeast MS approximately 8 miles south of Corinth, MS to a town called Hatchie (not shown on modern day maps). In 2004/5 I participated in a male Y-DNA project for males named MORROW. After 2 years there are now a couple of 25/25 marker exact matches with my DNA. One of these participants has his ancestry traced to a Thomas MORROW b. circa 1748 in PA who migrated with his sister and three brothers to the Pendleton/Anderson County area of SC and Thomas eventually ended up in Smith Co., TN in the early 1800's. Since Ephriam is apparently NOT a direct descendant of this Thomas MORROW, I am currently (2007) working on the theory that I very likely descend from one of Thomas's three brothers. I am very interested in sharing/comparing family history information with any interested researcher.
