    Abigail Fitch4 (Alice3 Bradford, William1-2) b. Norwich, Conn. 22 Feb 1687/8; d. Canterbury, Conn., 19 May 1759 aged 71. She m. Canterbury, Conn. 22 Oct 17113 John Dyar, b. Weymouth 9 April 1692; d. Canterbury, Conn., 25 Feb 1779 aged 86; son of Joseph and Hannah (Baxter) Dyer. He m. (2) Canterbury, Conn., 4 Oct 1759 Joane (Christophers) Leffingwell. On 12 Jan. 1721/2 James Fitch sold to John Dyer 12 acres and on 28 Mar 1723 he sold to his son-in-law John Dyer all his land in Canterbury not otherwise disposed of.

    On 10 May 1743 John Dyer sold to his son James Dyar land with a dwelling house and barn. On 23 Mar 1752 John sold to his on James another 55 acres. The will of John Dyar of Canterbury dated Apr 1773, proved 2 March 1779, son James.
