James Dugger was born ca 1784 or thereabouts, probably in Brunswick Co, VA or possibly in Orange Co, NC. I don't know what proof there is of James being a son of Alexander and Ann, but they fit on several circumstantially.

James Dugger came to Greene Co, TN about the same time as Alexander et al.

On 10 Apr 1804 James Duggar obtained a marriage bond in Greene Co., TN to marry Ann Stanley. Shadrack Dugger was the bondsman, suggesting that they were brothers.

"James Duger" and "James C. Duger" were listed on the 1809 Sumner Co., TN tax list. One is probably this son of Alexander, the other is his 1st cousin son of John Dugger. Neither of them is known to have had a "C" initial, but apparently one of them did. Which one?
