I too have the book "Early Pioneer Gravestones of Pope County, Illinois with photos. this book is written by Michael J. McNerney & Herb Myers. I bought my copy through the Pope County Historial Society. Rolston/ Hazel Cemetery {located on a north foot of Millstone Bluff Pope County, IL..} born c. 1751 in Virginia and died Dec 23, 1822 in Pope Co., IL. He never lived in Green County, North Carolina but lived in Guliford. he married Sept 1784 in Green Co., NC to Nancy McAdoo d/o John and Ann McAdoo of Virginia/ NC & Barren Co., KY. Nancy's father John left a will leaving her $1.00. Isaac and Nancy lived for awhile in Barren Co, KY census 1800. 1810 census Livingston Co., KY and 1818 Tax list for Pope Co., IL, 1820 census Pope Co., IL.. Isaac Rolston did not come to Pope co., as early as the above book states but after that. He also had a son, John b c 1804 plus the two daughter's Rhoda b 1787 and Celia b 1785. Isaac's sister, Rachel Ralston married Andrew Hays and she died in Pope Co., IL. Her husband died in Livingston Co., KY.
