In the 1870 Indiana, Noble County, Jefferson Dist Census Ira is h/o/h for himself and his brother, Alford's widow, Ann Corbin Potts with her 3 children, Ida, John Norman and Owen S. In 1872 Ann marries again to Abram Cary and Ira is alone again.
