Hillebrand Keimpes Dijkstra

1912 It must have been an attraction back in the day's when HKD, who owned a car and a motorcycle, during a winter, added a frame to his motorcycle and drove the machine on the Ice. Even the local newspaper sent a reporter to take note of this event.

1920 HKD had started a store selling bedding and on Smelbrêge nr. 8 in Stiens.

26 Nov 1941 after the death of his brother Dirk Dijkstra He buys a part of his (ware)house with shed, from his sister in law Tietje Rienks address Smelbrêge 13 Stiens with his brother in law Johan van der Zee.

1958 The other part of warehouse "Solo", is being sold by Tietje Rienks to Doede Rollingswier, who was a carpenter and neighbour on the Langebourren nr17. while HKD lived on nr15.
The shop was continued at the Langebourren nr 15 :
