Mrs. Helen Marie Jeffrey, 57, 740 Emmett, died Saturday night in a Kansas City, Kan. hospital. She was born September 13, 1900, near Richland, and was a lifelong resident of the Richland and Topeka communities. She was a member of the Oakland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ross Jeffrey, of the home; a son, Claude Jeffrey, Topeka; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Disney and Mrs. Stella Boehmer, both of Topeka; Mrs. Bertha Desque, Richland; and Mrs. Nellie Palmer, Kansas City, Palmer; a brother, Claude Howard, Overbrook, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McMichael Memorial Home with a short graveside service at Richland Cemetery.
