He arrived in Fresno, Calif. in 1909 and went with the Southern Pacific Railroad, becoming chief clerk after eight months. He returned to Columbiaville to marry Ethel, after which they returned to Fresno where they resided until 1928. In 1916, Harry went with the Sun Maid Raisen Growers Assocation as Traffice Manager, then becoming Company Secretary, office manager and member of the sales committee of the Sunland Sales Company, agent for Sun Maid and other fruit cooperatives. He was gentle in nature, proud of his family and had a fine sense of humor.
