!BIRTH-MARRIAGES-DEATH: In sheet called "Famille BOURGEOIS" by Placide Gaudet, GENEALOGIES ACADIENNES PAR PLACIDE GAUDET; (M.G.30, D103, vol. 4) in Public Archives of Canada. Copy made 17 Jan 1968 in possession of Karen Reader. Germain was born 1650, married 1st at Port [Royal] in 1673 to Marguerite [?] BELLIVEAU, daughter of Antoine & Andre'e GOUIN [sic]. Married 2nd at Port Royal in 1682 to Madeleine DUGAS, daughter of Abraham & Marguerite [?] DOUCET. He died in the spring of 1711 at Port Royal.
!CENSUS: 1686, Beaubassin, Acadia, age 34, with [second] wife, age 22 and 4 children age 12 to 3 [obviously the 12-year-old is not the child of this wife, nor are the next two]. They have 2 guns, 5 arpens worked land, 8 cattle, 3 sheep and 4 pigs.
!CENSUS: 1693, age 41 years.
!CENSUS: 1698, age 48 years.
!CENSUS: 1700, age 50 years.
!MARRIAGES-CHILDREN-CHRISTENING: Listed on daughter Agnes' baptismal record as married to Magdaleine BOURGEOIS in 1686, must be error [using married surname?] Marguerite DOUCET was his mother-in-law? Same names, though, appear in next entry in baptismal record, when they sponsored Jeanne POIRIER. Joint ceremony?
