I posted info on Louisa Homman stating that George and Mary (Hare) Homman were her parents. Like I said I'm a descendent of that line. I have researched George Homman and his wife intensively. They moved to Warsaw, Indiana sometime after 1850.

George Homman was not in the 1860 Warsaw, Kosciusko Co, IN census but his wife, Mary was. They were living next door to Louisa and James W. Comstock. Mary's daughter, Lavinia was living with her in 1860.

I was able to get a will for Mary (Hare) Homman. The first 2 parts of the will mention that the land goes to James W. Comstock. It mentioned Lavinia, Louisa and Mary A. Milice, Elizabeth Milice (the sisters married the Millice brothers, I think) The will mentioned all of the estate and goods go to Louisa Comstock.

Later on, Mary Homman changed the will sometime before her death in 1897 that all of the estate and goods go to Louisa Comstock. Lavinia died earlier. I have the death date. Will give it to you later. Elizabeth and Mary Milice died too. So by the time Mary Homman died, Louisa was the only surviving Homman alive.

Early in the will, Mary (Hare) Homman stated that she wished the girls to use the money to pick a gravestone as they saw fit for her burial in Oakwood cemetery. The will is proof that Mary (Hare) and George Homman died in Warsaw, Indiana.

Mary Homman b: 1817 in PA, d: 4 Nov 1897 in Warsaw, Kosciusko Co, In (interred in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana)

George Homman buried in Oakwood cemetery. I have his death date.

    Lavinia
    Louisa
    Elizabeth
    Mary A
    William Homman
Sarah are all buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Kosciusko Co, IN.

I will forward a partial transcription of Mary (Hare) Homman's will as well as the tombstone transcriptions of the Hommans later on this week. It is a long will.
