From Cathy (Box) Morse

Here is what I found while reading the Ingham County Democrat. I only looked at a few papers.

Thursday, March 9, 1882 Page 1 Col. 2

Messers. Joseph and John Keeler, five miles north and one mile east of Mason, will have an auction sale of farm stock, tools, etc., next Thursday, the 16th. Inst. Perry Henderson will preside.

Thursday, April 10, 1902, Page 8, Col. 2 West County Line Word was received here last week that Mrs. John Keeler of Missouri, formerly of this place, was dead.

Thursday, June 15, 1905, Page 8, Col. 1 Southeast Locke Old Mr. Keeler, aged 72, father of John Keeler east of Bell Oak, died last Sunday morning and his remains were taken to New York state and buried by the side of his first wife.

The variations in Sarah's last name may be due to people searching the census records and picking the names out of the available surnames for the area she supposedly came from.
