George Harris was baptised on 6th September 1846 at Hunston in Sussex, son of Lucy Harris, late Cousins, formerly Grant, and her second husband George Harris, an agricultural labourer. George appears in both the 1851 and 1861 censuses living with his parents and siblings at Hunston. In 1861 he was working as an agricultural labourer, like his father. He has yet to be researched after 1861.
