Gay, a carpenter, was fatally hurt while at work in front of the old freight house on the R.W.&O. property in State ST this morning. An iron beam struck him on the head, fracturing his skull. He died in a taxicab while on the way to the Lee private hospital fifteen minutes later... Gay lived at Altmar and had been employed on the Watertown division for some time. Gay is survived by his wife and an infant son, who live at Altmar; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Gay of Orwell; two brothers, Walter Gay of Altmar and Wiley Gay of Orwell; six sisters, Mrs. George W. March and Mrs. Harry Himes of Pulaski, Mrs. William Neil and Mrs. Clarence Seirs of Orwell, Mrs. John Earsman of Altmar and Mrs. Alva McChesney of Pulaski. George W. March and George J.
