Gay, 75, Pine Meadows, Town of Orwell, died this morning in the Oswego Hospital where he had been a patient for about two weeks. He was born Aug. 5, 1892 in the Town of Orwell, the son of William and Chloe Kinney Gay. He was educated in the PIne Meadows District School. Mr. Gay had operated a farm in the PIne Meadows area until his retirement about 10 years ago. He had been a caretaker for the Downes summer estate for 30 years. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Bessie March, Monrovia CA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be... Thursday at the Foster Funeral Home.
