Frances married Florence (Floren) Micho (Michaud) who was, according to family lore, the son of Alonzo Micho (Michaud), in 1882 at the age of seventeen. Two of their seven children died before 1900; and, Floren died in 1897 at the age of thirty-eight.

Frances LaChapelle was 34 years of age when she married George Edgar. It is not known whether or not there were children of this marriage. At the time of the marriage George Edgar was a widower with three children.
