On 24 October 1872 the Hon. Evelyn Corwallis Anderson Pelham and Harriett Frances Hutton were married at the parish church of Gate Burton, Lincolnshire, England (registered in the district of Gainsborough). Harriett, then of Allington Hall, Grantham, Lincolnshire, made oath on 28 January 1887 in Holborn, Middlesex, for a petition for judicial separation and custody of their children which was filed 31 January. She alleged specific occurrences of abuse and that her husband had committed adultery. In her petition, she lists six children: Cecil Henry, Charles Cornwallis, Allen Muriel, Florence Gwendoline, Reginald Evelyn, and Eleana Blanche. [edit] Death and ProbateThe Hon. Evelyn Cornwallis Anderson Pelham of Leamington, Warwick, died 6 March 1908 at Northampton, Northamptonshire[1] (registered in the district of Northampton[2]). On 29 May 1908, at London,[1] administration was granted to Cecil Henry Anderson Pelham and Godfrey Tallents Esq. His effects were valued £11,828-2-7. References
