according to Samuel Dale Penick Ethel's middle name is Manning but Mike Malone has copy of birth certificate and the middle initial H is what is on recoerd.

When Ethel left Otho Malone, she had to leave her kids with her father because she had no money. According to Richard Stiles (Ethel's son from a previous marriage) Ethel left the kids with Green during the depression in 1931 and in 1939.
