Otho was a workaholic. According to Richard Stiles (Otho's step-son) he was married to his general store. He was a provider but not supportive to his family. He didn't show his feelings for his kids. He ignored me (Richard) just like I wasn't even there.

Otho's step-daughter (Madge) was trying to Otho. She was active and always on the go. That really bothered Otho. In fact, Madge married during her freshman year in high school and left home.

Otho moved to Arkansas after divorcing Ethel in Oklahoma. He worked in the oil fields in Arkansas and then moved to Louisiana. Otho's family with Louva Amex lived in Louisa and Richard Stiles sent most of the Malone family history to one of Otho's daughters there. However, she was uninterested in the history and we have no idea who this person was who has the history now.

After receiving Otho's death certificate, it showed him as a Retired Groceryman at the time of death.
