    Services for Essie Mae Clarkson,90, Protem, will be at 2 p.m.today (Thursday)in the Community Church at Protem with burial in Protem Cemetery under the direction of Kissee Mortuary, Forsyth. Mrs. Clarkson died June 26 at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson after a long illness.
    She was born Sept 25, 1896 at Protem, the daughter of John Wesley and Fannie Effie Clark Brightwell. She was a lifelong resident of the Protem Community. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
    Mrs. Clarkson is survived by two sons, Rollen and Corbin, both of Protem; one daughter, Sylvia Engenmann, Oceanside, Calif., two brothers, Hillary Brightwell, Springfield, Claude Brightwell, San Diego, Calif.; two sisters. Mary Ann Rozell, Branson, and Lettie Lewis, Mountain Grove; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren
