Claude worked in an Aircraft Plant until his retirement.
Mamie taught Elementary School for over forty years.
They had no children but once had a Cocker Spaniel - a blonde - named BONNIE.
Once when Claude was old and feeble he fall into their swimming pool. Bonnie barked at the door till someone came out to the rescue.
Claude at the time of his death was survived by two sisters and some brothers and many nieces and nephews. By the time Mamie died Claude had only nieces and nephews living.
Mamie was survived by two cousins, Milo Blankenship of Oregon and Dora Margaret Blunt of Marshfield, MO, a second cousin, Walter Holt of Springfield, MO, and several nieces and nephews.
