Obituary for Emma Bussell

Mrs. Emma L. Bussell, 76, died at 8:30 pm Monday in her home at 630 Northeast Capital avenue. She had been ill only a few hours. Born Dec. 10, 1865, in Groton, N.Y., she came to Battle Creek to live 24 years ago. She lived a number of years before that in this section of the state. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Raymond C. Martin of 824 Northeast Capital avenue; a son, Harry C. Bussell of 11 Post avenue; a sister, Mrs. Etta Hickman of Charlotte; a brother, Clayton Gunn of Bellevue, and a grandson, Ralph E. Bussell of 75 Iroquois avenue. The funeral will be at 2 pm Thursday from Hebble's Chapel, with the Rev. Carleton …oks Miller in charge. (almost illegible handwritten date, may be April 24 1942)
