BELLEVUE -- Clarence H. Gunn, 79, of 11436 E. Battle Creek Highway, died Sunday in Leila Hospital. He had been ill six weeks.

"He was born in Battle Creek and moved to Bellevue with his family as a young child. He was employed as an electrician in the area and retired from the city of Battle Creek in 1970 after about 20 years of service. For the past 12 years, he and his wife had spent the winter months in Haines City, Fla. He was a member of the American Prophecy Crusade in Florida, and a former member of the Seventh-day Adventist Tabernacle. Surviving are his wife, the former Glyna C. Harris; sons, J.C. and Wendell E., both of Bellevue, and Merle M. Gunn of Battle Creek; brothers, Keith C. Gunn of Battle Creek and Lynn L. Gunn of Delton; and seven grandchildren."
