Mrs. Raymond B. (Emma C.) Davis, 81, of 4241 Amsterdam Rd. SE, Carrollton died Monday in Timken Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born September 6, 1903 in Loudon Township, a daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Karns) Colar. She was a member of Kilgore United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married December 24, 1924; a daughter, Mrs. James E. (Janey) Smith of Carrollton and a grandson. She was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Kilgore United Methodist Church with Rev. Clarke Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Kilgore Cemetery. Calling hours were held this Wednesday at the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home, which was in charge of arrangements, and from noon to 1 p.m. at the church Thursday.
