    Mrs. Viola McMillen, 71, of Rt. 1, Amsterdam, died Saturday at Twin City Hospital, in Dennison, following a lengthy illness. Daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Karns) Colar, she was a life resident of Carroll County. Mrs. McMillen was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Kilgore.
    Her husband, Ralph McMillen, died March 2, 1968. Surviving are a son, Harold McMillen of the home; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Raymond Davis of Kilgore. Services were held Tuesday at the Sweeney Funeral Home in Amsterdam with Rev. Richard E. Jarvic officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery.
