I believe she was the mother of Anna Gibbs, listed with Margaret in 1900, Winford/Winfred Gibbs listed with George Shankland in the 1900 census, and Fannie Gibbs, b. 1891 in Nebraska listed with George in 1910 [maybe the same as Anna].

 In the 1880 census for Elk, Hancock Co., Iowa, Edward Gibbs is 22, farmer from Indiana (father New York, mother New Jersey); with wife Emma 22 born Indiana (parents Kentucky); and daughter Rosa, 4 mo. Iowa.{p. 10b}
