Ella A. Smith, 90, of Manns Choice RD 1, died Nov. 2, 1993, at theBedford County Memorial Hospital. Born July 3, 1903, in FairhopeTownship in Somerset County. Daughter of the late Henry and Katie(Kiser) Browning. Also preceded in death by her husband, Ellis E.Smith, who died March 12, 1978; also five brothers and threesisters. Survived by two sisters: Ruth M. Clites, with whom sheresided, and Bertha M. Shaw of East Freedom, and several nieces andnephews. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at theHarvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where service will be held at2 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Charles F. Rhodes officiating. Interment atMount Zion Cemetery.
