Ellis E. Smith, 75, of Fairhope RD 1, died March 12, 1978 inBedford County Memorial Hospital.Born August 8, 1902, in Buck Valley, Fulton County, Pa., he was ason of the late Scott A. Smith and Emma (Melott) Smith.He was a retired township supervisor and a member of the CumberlandAerie 245 Eagles and the Paradise Valley Sportsmen's Club.Surviving are his widow, Ella (Browning) Smith; a brother, SoddSmith, Hancock, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Schetrompf, Odenton,Md.; and Mrs. Hazel Sanda, Baltimore, Md.Services were held Wednesday at the Zeigler Funeral Home with theRev. Charles Rhodes officiating. Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
