57 Elizabeth Stubbs (Abigail Benjamin, Abigail Eddy, William), m. in 1674, James Stimson, b. 1644; d. 1692; son of Jonathan Stimson.
[Note: Elizabeth m. Jonathan, not the son James, per Bond, p. 583, and Torrey. It can only be assumed that this error is caused by the bond of "Elizabeth Stempson, Relict Widow of Jonathan Stempson of WaterTowne" as administratrix of "James Stempson late of Watertowne" [Middlesex Probate 21475, the only document in this file]. As can be seen from comparison to the probate file of Jonathan Stimpson [Middlesex Probate 21489], the mention of James must be an error of the scribe. Elizabeth Stempson was administratrix of Jonathan, and the widow's thirds were set off 6 Jan 1700[/01], and the residue was settled on eldest son James 14 Jul 1701, he paying his nine siblings, all documents naming the deceased as Jonathan.]
