  2. The bond of James Stimson to pay his siblings in 1701 appears (based on those siblings whose birth is known) to be in birth order. Mary is listed last, after Benjamin b. 1690, hence her birth is estimated about 1692. Middlesex Probate case 21490 contains a guardian bond dated 6 Jan 1700/01 for "Marah Stimpson another of ye Daughters of ye s'd Jonathan Stimpson deced a minor of about Eight years of age". Note that Source:Bond, Henry. Family Memorials. Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and Weston (1855), p. 583, places Mary before Elizabeth, that was probably influenced by his mistaken handling of Elizabeth, making him further err in thinking Mary married William Harvey, when it was Elizabeth. Mary died with her maiden name, so never married. James appears to have satisfied his debt to her by paying her funeral charges.
