13.9 Elizabeth3 RITTGERS (John, Jr.2, John1) was born 30 Nov 1839 in Marion Twp., Hocking Co ., Oh., the daughter of John Augustin RITTGERS, Jr. and Lydia_____. She is on the 1850 Cens us, age 10, with parents there.[p 841 fam #118/120] She married Peter WAGONER 10 Sep 1857 i n Hocking County, Oh.[HVRM, Book "B", p. 267] He was born about 1832 in Oh. On the 1860 ce nsus we find Elizabeth, age 20, married to Peter Wagoner, age 28, a farm hand. They have so n Jacob, age 2, with them. It appears they are living in the home of, and working for, Dani el Leffler and his wife and children. Also in the house with Peter and Elizabeth is Jacob Ri ttgers, age 13.[p 158 Fam #1040/1028] On the 1850 census we find Peter Wagoner at home wit h his father Peter, in Marion Twp., Hocking Co., Oh. Father Peter later married Catherine (R ittgers) Amspaugh (#1.7).
