Note by Marty Grant: Somewhere along the way I concluded that Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Rowland, was a Fouts. Now I can't find any proof to back that up. It may have been an assumption on my part, or perhaps I did have some evidence, now lost. Can anyone shed light on this subject?
