Edward Rowe was baptised on 11th February 1821 at Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, son of a lace maker named Susannah Rowe, formerly Perry, and her husband Samuel Rowe, an ironmonger's labourer.

Edward died aged 28, being buried at Leighton Buzzard on 5th December 1849.
