After her mother died she lived with the Murphys, John and Catherine Hosler, Aunt Jenny Hendricks, and her sister, Sadie LaNore.

Obituary LAUG - Mrs. Dorothy Laug, aged 90, of Naples, FL., formerly of Coopersville passed away September 25, 1997 in Naples, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Forrest Laug, September 3, 1996. Mr. Laug was the Founder of The Michigan Bulb Co. and active in many Civic and area affairs. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Laug Booth of Grand Rapids, Norma Laug of FL and Ronald Laug of FL; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, also four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:30 p.m. at the Throop Funeral Home-Coopersville with Rev. Robert VanZyl officiated. Burial in Coopersville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may meet the Laug family 7 to 9 pm. Monday. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Laug may be made to the American Cancer Society.
