Donald D. Kohler, 82, of 13410 Telpahak Street SE, Minerva, died last Wednesday morning at the Harrison Community Hospital following a short illness. Born November 16, 1906 in Kilgore, he was a son of David and Bertha (Hosterman) Kohler. He was retired from Glen Gary Corp. in Robertsville. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary (Simmons) Kohler, on April 21, 1970.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hubert (Madalene) Kolm of Louisville; two grandchildren, Cassandra and Andrew, and one great-grandson Zachary. Services were held Saturday in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Fred Krebs of the Paris Israel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in Mapleton Cemetery.
