My mother Anna Leopold and my father both grew up on Cooper Mt.about a mile apart as did all the siblings of both families. They were married for approx. 22 yrs before getting a divorce. Some time later my dad married Laura (I am ashamed to say I do not remember her last name). Sometime during there marriage my dad purchased the 2 grave sites on Cooper Mt.. My father was buried there but when Laura passed away her family wanted her buried somewhere else. Thus we had an empty site by my dad. When my mother Anna Wales passed away my sis and I both decided to bury her by dad on Cooper Mt. there home. Hopefully this answers the mystery my sis and I both had a good laugh about how this would be confusing to some one not knowing the facts. Sincerely Bob Syverson" |
