Details on Clara seem needing of covert answers. Was she conceived premarital to mother Mary's first marriage (Hoagland), which lasted very briefly in deduction of dates for marriage #2 to FC Braught? Other details suggest possible chasm between Clara and her family over long period, with little known contact with family after her marriage to Cashman, record of her contesting her mother's will, etc.). Some interesting stories will likely be related to Clara, when discovered. I already had middle initial L, but middle name Lauretta came from LDS#AFN: 1zft-4zh ( Laurane Nash, 23 Hill CR, Red Deer, AB, Canada T4N 6G3, submission AF97-116432 (and reported here without her permission to date, but intend to contact her to compare sources and differences in our data). Notice that she was apparently (need more documentation) born in 1857 at Gilboa, OH (her parents married Jan 1. that year), and married Ed. J. Cashman 9 Dec. 1875, therfore age 18. But the 1880 Warren Co., IA Census shows her age 18 living back with her parents. Her next sibling, Cortes, was born in 1860, so he was indeed about two years younger than Clara (may have used name of Laura more than Clara; see 1880 Census and Nash record above calling her Lauretta). She needed parental permission to marry, suggesting that she was under legal age then (whatever that age was then) ... probably about age 18. There is at least one child born whose data I do not have. She had children after 1880, so it is possible that she was living at her parents home then either divorced, or her husband Ed. was merely away for a period for some reason. See Warren Co, IA Marriages 1849-79 pg.1875 #149 (notice surname spelling as both C and G in Braught). See Warren Co, IA Marriage Book C 1875-78.
