Christening[1] 23 Jan 1843 Hunston, Sussex, England
Census[2] 30 Mar 1851 Hunston, Sussex, EnglandHunston Common

Charles Cousins was baptised on 23rd January 1843 at Hunston in Sussex, son of Lucy Cousins, formerly Grant, and her husband Ephraim Cousins, an agricultural labourer. Sadly, Charles's father appears to have died whilst his mother was pregnant with him, being buried the month before Charles's baptism.

When Charles was three years old his mother married again, with her second husband being an agricultural labourer named George Harris, who thus became Charles's stepfather. Charles appears in the 1851 census living with his mother, stepfather and siblings at Hunston Common.

Charles has yet to be researched after 1851.
