Bessie

Bessie died of Cancer at the age of 45 in 1947...she was the oldest child of John Addie and Nola Ann Williams Isbell.. she married Nathan Johnson and they had five children...the youngest was sixteen when she died...She live in Coweta, Oklahoma...she ask to see me just before she died I was six years old, my mother and Skeet was already out there so My dad and Ralph (Rabbit) Skeet's husband took me out of school and we went to see her..she gave me a little coin purse, it was made of leather and made like a football...I still have it..that following summer we made a trip to California to see my grandfather John Addie Isbell...Dad gave me a silver dollar..I put it in the coin purse when I got home and it remain there..I have treasured both very much all my life...the coin purse is in very poor shape but it is of great value to me...Donald Lloyd Bradley
