Memory of sister, Ruth: "Nine years of school. Was a awful hard worker. He always made big money. He fixed big machinery that they moved dirt with when they made roads. He was a mechanic. Worked on turnapole. He always liked mechanics. Worked for a man that owned a garage when young. He got this job with working on Turnapoles. He would sit until they called him and then he would go fix it. He was a maintenance man. He was great on traveling and taking pictures. He loved flowers and took photos of his mothers gardens, He had hundred of photos." See more photos below [edit] Obituary"Beryl Zimmerman, 67, of North East street, died at home Monday. He was head mechanic for Glen Graffice & Son Paving, Woodville for 32 years,retiring in 1981. He was a World War II Army veteran and member of Albert Bowe American Legion Post 338. He was born May 30, 1919, in Wood county to Mr and Mrs Sterling Zimmerman (Emma Ritter). He married Virginia Williams on Dec 21, 1977, in Michigan. Surviving are his wife;one daughter, Mrs Judy Hovis, Bradner; five stepsons... three sisters:Mrs Ruth Brickner, Tiffin; Mrs Dessa Minch, Continental; Mrs June Kern,Bradner. One brother preceded him in death. The funeral will be Thursday at 10am... burial will be at Trinity..." Image Gallery
