Fulton Times, 14 Sep 1910: NORTH VOLNEY Mr. Benjamin Looker was quite seriously injured Thursday while working in Messrs. Taft's woods by a sapling striking him in the face. He was so seriously injured as to be unrecognisable and it was at first thought his nose was entirely gone, his jaw broken and one eye so badly injured as to make him blind; but after further examination the doctors found he was less seriously injured than at first thought. Drs. Marsh and Keller of Fulton were called and the former took him to Fulton Hospital in his auto where he now is.

Oswego Daily Times, 31 Aug. 1911: Frank Looker was called to Scriba Sunday night as his son, Banjamin, had become suddenly insane. Mr. B. Looker is improving.

Oswego Palladium-Times, 1 Dec 1920: BENJAMIN LOOKER The death of Benjamin Looker, of 37 Lawrence ST, aged 32 years, occurred at an early hour this morning at the Oswego Hospital after a brief illness. Deceased was employed as fireman for some time at the pumping station and was well known throughout the city. He was born in Williamstown NY and was a member of the North Volney M.E. Church. Surviving are his widow and six small children; two brothers, Raymond Looker of Fulton and Alonzo Looker of North Volney; and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Ingalls of Fulton and Mrs. Minnie Olin of Richland. Funeral will take place on Friday.

Fulton Patriot, 8 Dec 1920: LOOKER-- Died at the Oswego hospital Dec. 1st, Benjamin Looker, aged 37 [!] years. He is survived by his widow and six small children; two brothers, Raymond Looker of Fulton and Alonzo Looker of North Volney; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Ingalls of Fulton and Mrs. Minnie Olin of Richland. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon.
