WORKING AT OF-S FOR 25 YEARS AND RAISING FINE FAMILY, ALICE LOOKER SMILING Mrs. Alice Looker stepped forward with the honored group to receive 25-year service pins last month... Mrs. Looker came here to work in 1923, widowed with 6 children between the ages of 3 and 13... Now she has 6 fine grown daughters and sons. Martin has been working in the Paper Mill most of the time since 1928 and he served in combat in the Army. Thomas has 9 yrs of service, now in the Machine Shop. Francis and Irvin were in Cap for some years. Nettie is wife of Allen Cronk, Cap Foreman with a 1934-'47 service record. Margaret is Mrs. Joe Angelina, in the sheet metal business here.

Oswego Valley News, 22 June 1977: MRS. LOOKER SUCCUMBS AT 85 Mrs. Alice B. Looker, 85, widow of Benjamin Looker, Sr. of 868 Hannibal ST, died Thursday, June 16 in Lee Memorial Hospital after a short illness. A native of South Scriba, she had resided all her life in this area. She was a long-time retired Sealright plant employee. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Nettie) Cronk, Demster, and Mrs. Margaret Angelina, Wolcott; sons Martin and Thomas of Fulton and Benjamin Jr., Sterling; several grandchildren... and two sisters... Services were Saturday at the Young and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Daniel Rauth officiating.
