Mrs. Looker came here to work in 1923, widowed with 6 children between the ages of 3 and 13... Now she has 6 fine grown daughters and sons. Martin has been working in the Paper Mill most of the time since 1928 and he served in combat in the Army. Thomas has 9 yrs of service, now in the Machine Shop. Francis and Irvin were in Cap for some years. Nettie is wife of Allen Cronk, Cap Foreman with a 1934-'47 service record. Margaret is Mrs. Joe Angelina, in the sheet metal business here. The Looker family members, all of whom work at Oswego Falls-Sealright Co. of Fulton, will discuss a day's work at the plant... The four Fultonians are Mrs. Alice Looker of 469 W First ST South, two of her sons, Martin and Thomas, and Mrs. Leona Bennett Looker, Martin's wife... LOOKER SUCCUMBS AT 85 Mrs. Alice B. Looker, 85, widow of Benjamin Looker, Sr. of 868 Hannibal ST, died Thursday, June 16 in Lee Memorial Hospital after a short illness. A native of South Scriba, she had resided all her life in this area. She was a long-time retired Sealright plant employee. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Nettie) Cronk, Demster, and Mrs. Margaret Angelina, Wolcott; sons Martin and Thomas of Fulton and Benjamin Jr., Sterling; several grandchildren... and two sisters... Services were Saturday at the Young and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Daniel Rauth officiating. References
