NATIVE OF THIS COUNTY...

WAS AUSTIN P. HUNTLEY WHO DIED AT HIS HOME TUESDAY NIGHT

Austin P. Huntley, aged 62 years, died at his home on Elm Street Tuesday night at 11:30 following a long illness. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 and will be in charge of Canton Warren of this city.
Mr. Huntley was a man with a wide acquaintance throughout Trumbull county. He was a native of Bristol township having been born there October 2, 1849. He was a son of the late Calvin Huntley. For a number of years he resided in Farmington and then moved to this city where he has made his home for the past eighteen or twenty years. He was for many years a prominent coal dealer.
For the past three years he had been a sufferer from cancer of the stomach and throughout this time he bore his suffering with a cheerfulness which was remarkable.
Mr. Huntley was a charter member of Mecca Lodge of Odd Fellows and a member of Trumbull Encampment and Canton Warren of this city. In his lodge affiliations he was always faithful and enjoyed the esteem and confidence of his brothers. At his request members of Canton Warren will have charge of his funeral.
Surviving are his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Crowell of Cleveland and Mrs. George Goldner of Detroit who have been constantly in attendance on him for the past two months; three sons, B.W. of Farmington, Lee of this city, and Charles of Cleveland; five brothers and four sisters.
