On 21 July 1770, in the parish of St Luke, Chelsea, Middlesex, England, Charles Anderson Pelham of Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, and Sophia Aufrere of the parish of St Luke were married by special licence by the minister Philip Duval, in the presence of [her parents] George Aufrere and Arabella Aufrere.[1]
