Pages for living people and WeRelate page titling conventions [23 July 2012]

Hello Hauser, I noticed that you are creating Person and Family pages such as Family:Child Hauser and 6 Gross (2). There are two issues here. The first is that pages for people who are still living are not permitted on WeRelate. If any of these people are still living, you will need to delete their Person and Family pages by clicking More>Delete from the menu on the left. Secondly, these pages do not follow WeRelate's titling conventions. If a name is not known, the convention is to use the word Unknown in place of the unknown given or surname. You can find more information about this Here. You can rename these pages by clicking on the Rename link from the left menu. If you have any questions, you can post here or on my talk page. Thank you, --Jennifer (JBS66) 12:49, 16 July 2012 (EDT)

As I mentioned in the post above, pages for living people are not allowed on WeRelate. Yesterday, I submitted numerous pages that you have created for Speedy Delete. These pages either contained living people or do not follow our naming conventions. Instead of creating pages such as Family:Y Hauser and X Gross (1), please use one of templates such as Template:Pedigree3 to connect family lines using a chart on your User page. I will be marking the above family for Speedy Delete as it appears to contain false information to circumvent these policies.
Please read the following help pages before continuining to add new pages to WeRelate.

I will be deleting the pages that you created again today for the same living people. Below is a template that you may add to your User page instead. Pages cannot be added for living people. Falsifying data to get around these policies is not helpful to the general WeRelate community as the pages you are adding are not "your" pages, but are the community's. --Jennifer (JBS66) 14:28, 22 July 2012 (EDT)

Hauser, first off, stop creating new pages for the immediate time being. You are risking your access by repeatedly adding disallowed pages.
Then click edit by the pedigree template that Jennifer posted above. Copy the code. Cancel out of your user talk page by clicking on the User:Hauser link. Edit that page and paste the pedigree code into the edit box. That will "link" the two families. Then go about editing the existing pages with the information you have on your computer.
See Help:Images for instructions about adding images to pages.
There are people here-- all volunteers-- who can help you. Please have patience with us and with the system and together we will figure out the best way to share the info you have while at the same time following the policies that guide our use of WeRelate.

Pages for living people will be deleted [25 July 2012]

Hauser,

You mentioned on my talk page that you have a lot of information on your computer that you would like to share with other people. Please understand that you will not be able to share ALL of this information, because, as I have stated above, pages for living people are not allowed. I have tried to converse with you about this for over a week but you continue to add these pages.

Please note, if you continue to create pages for living people, your account will be blocked for 1 week. Today, I will be marking your pages for living people with the speedy delete template.

If you have any questions about this, you may respond here, or leave a message on my talk page. --Jennifer (JBS66) 08:10, 25 July 2012 (EDT)
