Jan. 1690; rem. to Lancaster, and d. 30 Nov. of uncert. yr. and there
Elizabeth m. Samuel Willard of L. EPHRAIM, Simsbury, s. of Edward,[1] m.
11 or 21 May 1691, Mary Jaggers, had Ephraim, b. 28 Sept. 1692; and
d. 26 Nov. by rec. but, in Stiles, 739, 20 Oct. 1697. GEORGE,
Dorchester, freem. 6 May 1635, rem. with Warham to Windsor, by
first w. said to be nam. Phillury, d. of Philip Randall, wh. d. 29 Apr.
1648, had Isaac, b. 20 Aug. 1638; Abraham, 22 Jan. 1643; and Joseph,
24 June 1647, wh. d. soon, as did Abraham in the same yr.; ano. Joseph,
whether by first or sec. w. is unkn. He m. 2, or as ano. acco. is,
30 Nov. 1648, Frances, wh. had been wid. Clark, and then was wid.
of Thomas Dewey, and had Jacob, 7 Feb. 1650; John, 15 Feb. 1652;
and Nathaniel, 7 Dec. 1653; rem. to Westfield, there had more ch. and
d. 8 May 1687, but Stiles in Hist. 743, says 9 July 1678. Six s. were
then liv. no d. is nam. His wid. d. 27 Sept. 1690. HENRY, Salem,
from London, came in the Hercules 1634, m. 1652, Hannah Bassett, but
as sec. w. in my opin. for there is some prob. that he had m. a d. of
Thomas Tresler, by wh. he had s. John, rememb. in the will of his gr.mo.
Perhaps he was a Quaker, at least, Felt II. 582 tells how Hannah P. in
Oct. 1659, was admonish. But she may have been w. of Nicholas P.
ISAAC, Windsor, eldest s. of George of the same, m. 11 May 1663, or 11
Mar. 1664 (Parsons give both dates only six lines apart in Geneal.
Reg. V. 369, so that it is quite doubtful wh. day we should prefer, but
Stiles takes the earlier), Ann, d. of the sec. William Gaylord, had Isaac,
b. 18 Sept. 1666, wh. had 3 ch. yet d. at 32 yrs.; Sarah, bapt. 4 July
1670; and rem. to Westfield, there was freem. 1671, had John, b. 27
Dec. 1672, bapt. 29 June 1673; Hannah, 5 Nov. 1674; Hezekiah, 9
July 1677; Joseph, 28 Nov. 1679; Noah, 14 Oct. 1684; and Ebenezer,
6 June 1687; beside Daniel, and ano. both d. young. His w. d. Sept.
1690, and he d. 8 May 1687, or 21 Sept. 1725. Why so gr. interval betw.
var. dates is seen, I have no explanat. JACOB, Westfield, br. of the preced.
m. 2 May 1672, Dorothy, sec. d. of John Ingersol, had Dorothy, b.
as one tells, 18 Oct. but Goodwin says Dec. 1673, d. in few wks.; Dorothy,
again, 10 May 1675; Hannah, 26 Nov. 1677; Israel, 3 Apr. 1681;
Benjamin, 8 Jan. 1684; Joseph, 5 Aug. 1686; and Jedediah, 7 Dec.
1688; and d. 6 oct. 1689. His wid. m. a Root. JAMES, Boston 1657.
JOHN, Charlestown, by w. Catharine had Catharine, b. 8 May 1659, says
the Middlesex rec. and the same authty, adds that Catharine Phelps, d.
19 June foll. But I find no Phelps in Charlestown, for a long time bef.
or aft. and John Phillips at that time had w. Catharine wh. may have
had that ch. In some rec. the name is plain Philps, and this shows how
easily one may be converted to the other. JOHN, Salem, perhaps s. of
Henry, b. w. Abigail had Abigail[2], b. 21 Apr. 1669; John, 6 Feb. 1671;
Henry, 3 Apr. 1673; Joseph, 7 Dec. 1675; Abigail, 7 Jan. 1678; Samuel,
6 Jan. 1680; and Hannah, 12 Apr. 1683. JOHN, Windsor, br. of
